The Pursuit of God comes with a commandment and this commandment points us to obedience to the word of God, loving what Christ loves, and imitating Him. The life we live and all we do must conform to the ways of the Father.

Little children recognize their need for God and do not even see their resources as their sources of hope. In our pursuit of God, we must behave and portray the character of little children. Walking in purity and simplicity of heart gives you the freedom to come to God.

In our pursuit of God, we must flee from many things. The church of the Lord has been vulnerable to false teachers and to religious experiences that focus on the mind rather than on the heart of God.

In our pursuit of God, righteous living is paramount to assist us and guide us to pursue God more. Without it, there is no way we can please God. If we hunger to be righteous in our own eyes, we must come to God for the grace He gives is immeasurable.

In our pursuit of God, the important thing you must reach out for is not depending on your ability to stand the test of this world. Another thing is you must glory in Christ Jesus and place your absolute confidence and trust in what He can do through you.

In our pursuit of God, we are to pray for a personal encounter with the LORD. The Apostle Paul was surely one of the most sincere and disciplined men this world has ever seen.

We pursue God because He has first put an urge within us that makes us pursue Him. The tendency to pursue God originates with God, but the outworking of that impulse is our following hard after Him, and all the time being at His side.
