Scripture reading: Galatians 5:22-23( ESV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things, there is no law.
One of the qualities of God’s heart is gentleness yet understood least in the church. Many people see gentleness as a weakness. God calls us to pursue gentleness or meekness in our journey with Him.
Gentleness has nothing to do with weakness. God has not called us to a passive lifestyle. We must pursue God aggressively and actively respond to Him with a whole heart. Gentleness is living according to the power of God, allowing His power to flow through you in all circumstances.
If we are going to be great in the kingdom of God without any hindrances, we must learn to pursue gentleness with all of our hearts. As we draw our hearts towards Him, God makes us like Himself and fills us with the power of His life. Glory to God!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, your word teaches me to pursue gentleness with all of my heart. Help me to stand and stay stronger to achieve this purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
