John 17:17(ESV)
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
To be sanctified is to be separated from the world and its expropriation unto God and His purpose, not only positionally but also dispositionally. Being free from sin and servants to God, you have fruit unto holiness and the end of it all is evalasting life which the good judge( God) has promised unto us.
God’s living word works in the believers to separate us from anything worldly. This is to be sanctified in God’s word, which is the truth in His word. He’s the word and the reality of this living Epistle. Nothing can stop Him from being God. The Lord God is concealed in His word, His word is reality. We are sanctified in His word.
Beloved, God’s word carries the reality of the Father with it, when God’s word says, ” God is light, ” it carries God as light in it, God’s word is reality and the truth. His word is pure truth. From henceforth may you be sanctified in His truth eternally. Be blessed in the Lord!!!
Prayer:
Abba Father, thank you for sanctifying me in your word. Lead and direct my path unto every good work in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
