Our studies on the “love of God” has taught us that we need to first of all love God even as He loved us so we can pursue Him. Before a man seeks God, God must first seek him.
Yes, it is true. Before a sinful man can think of pursuing God, there must have been a work of enlightenment done within Him.This stirs up all his desiring and seeking and praying to know God more.
We pursue God because He has first put an urge within us that make us to pursue Him. The tendency to pursue God originates with God, but the outworking of that impulse is our following hard after Him, and all the time being at His side.
