Rejoice In The Lord Always

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice.

Christ is the secret of our sufficiency.
Rejoicing in the Lord always affords us strength for oneness to focus in life and on our purpose in Christ. Rejoicing in the Lord is the secret of having excellent virtues such as guarding our hearts, and thoughts, thinking about what things are true, lovely things, right things, pure things, and that which are dignified.

It is one thing to have the joy of the Lord and yet another to rejoice in the Lord. We rejoice when we consciously express the joy that is in our hearts even in adverse topography and unfavourable circumstances. When things begin to go wrong, let’s ask for the grace to rejoice; that is express the joy of the spirit that is in our hearts, irrespective of the condition we find ourselves in. No condition you find yourself in is permanent.

The Word of the Lord said for his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning(Psalm 30:5). God has a way of turning out every minute of our worst moment into a good and favorable one. For the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Brethren in Christ, though we may be burdened with the twists and turns of life, yet let’s walk with a deliberate consciousness of God’s presence, knowing that, in His presence, there is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more. You’re blessed!!!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for making me rejoice in you all the time, though there may be instances of pain, guide me and lead me to stand upright in the kingdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
