Joel 2:25(KJV)
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
The joy of the Lord brings us to the place of celebration. Bible said in (Psalm 30:5) weeping may only tarry for a night but joy comes in the morning. Our God is a restorer who can make all things abound to our good irrespective of what we find ourselves in. He restored greater measure, what the devil had forcefully or deceptively stolen from us.
He also restores to us wasted years and lost opportunities. In Joel’s prophecy, God promised to restore years to Israel, even though the ravaging locusts destroyed food crops. What is expected of us is to use those restored opportunities wisely and profitably to bring out something meaningful and useful. Take advantage of what God is doing for you as a season of restoring every wasted years and lost opportunity and take every advantage of them and make them productive and fruitful.
Beloved in the Lord, if there is one thing you will desire from God, it should be discernment. This will enable you to discern when wasted years and lost opportunities are being restored to you, so you can make good use of them to fulfill God’s pleasure. My heart desires that the Spirit of God will help you discern every season of your life and cause you to flourish in every good path. You’re favored by the Lord!!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of discernment and wisdom to help me stand every test and trails in this season. I ask that you guide me and bring an abundance of joy to my heart. Be with me and help me to fulfill my purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
