The Love Of God – 23

Scripture: John 15:4(KJV)
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Abiding in the vine means receiving, believing, and trusting in the words of Jesus. It means receiving the love of Jesus for the Father and for His people and the joy that Jesus has in the Father and us.

None of us here can bear fruit on our own unless we encounter the love of God. Jesus Christ is the rock of our foundation, he’s the pillar we hold in zion. Anyone here will find what the Bible shares in (James 1:17) when they first encounter the love of God. God is the only one who is willing to love you without any condition attached.

As children of God, we are to bear much fruit in our schools, at our workplaces, at church, and in the places, we live in. The fruit we bear at these social places will cause an announcement to the people around us about the living God we serve. By this life, you’re also promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ through obedience to the word of God.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to abide in you throughout my life and cleanse me from all manner of unrighteousness in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
