Hebrews 4:12(ESV)
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Our spirit is the organ with which we contact God while our heart is the organ with which we love God. Bible admonishes in Mark (12:30) thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Our spirit contacts, receive, contains and experiences God.
Our heart is not separate from our soul and spirit but is a composition of all the parts of the soul, the spirit and the body. God’s living word can discern our thoughts and our will. Anyone who is struggling genuinely to walk with God must go back to the study of the Word. You can’t love Jesus and hate the Word. He is the Word and manifested in flesh to redeem and give us eternal life.
Brethren in the Lord, the goal of Jesus is for us to enjoy all His suffering which is our gain and have full rest in His kingdom. Keep on pressing towards the mark of the highest calling. Don’t give up, strive to leave a balance, Christian life, with the help of the Holy Spirit, you shall be helped greatly. The Spirit of the true God equip and help you to stand upright in Him.
