Avoiding The Counsel Of False Teachers( The Book Of Titus)

Scripture: Titus1:5-16( Recovery Version)
All things are pure to the pure; yet to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and, as to every good work, disapproved.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who dwells in us. He convicts our hearts and renew us in the power of His strength. Bible says in these later times some will depart from the faith because of the teachings and doctrinal diseases many have come across. Such teachings forbid men from marriage and command abstaining from food which God’s word teaches us to receive with thanksgiving.

Apostle Paul says “All things are pure to the pure; yet to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure”. The mind is the leading part of our soul and conscience is the main part of our spirits. If our mind is polluted our soul is spontaneously polluted and if our conscience is defiled our spirit is unavoidably defiled.

God’s command is for us to refute the commandment of men( doctrinal imbalances) that put and has placed many in bondage, and be led by Him. In vs 16, He exposes 3 things about these false teachers, they deny God, do abominable things, and such teachers are very disobedient to the instructions of God. My prayer for you this day is for you to stay true to God’s organic truth as His Spirit guides you in this journey. Praise the Lord!!!

Prayer:
El Roi, thank you for the gift of salvation, and for being an example to me. Help me to put my trust in you, guide me to stay true to your ways, and lead me to fulfill my purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
