SCRIPTURE:LUKE 4:4(KJV)
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God
The revealed Word of God expresses the thoughts, character, plans, and personality of God. This word must be made active in you. Our scripture reading for today gives us more insight into how to apply the Word of God whenever we are entangled in difficulties.
Many Christians are not able to apply the word when they find themselves in circumstances. As believers, our authority is rooted directly in God’s word. As you keep on studying it, you gain the spirit of life. Dedicating yourself to the study of the word enables you to have more insight to overcome every form of temptation.
Brethren in Christ, subject yourself to the study of God’s word to enable you to gain prominence in the spiritual life. Also, dedicate your life to the ministry of prayer and the study of God’s word, for it is life unto them that believes and have it. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Abba Father, I thank you for your word that comes to me through your Spirit as I study and meditate on the divine truths in the Scriptures. Your word put me above all situations and causes me to excel in everything, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
