2 Corinthians 3-4(ESV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we are comforted by God.
The comfort of God implies being cheered. God is the Father of compassion and the God of comfort. Apostle Paul wrote this epistle to express the comfort he gained through what he saw in the church of Corinth. In the first epistle, Paul rebuked, corrected and helped them to walk in the right way. Part of what Paul did was intended to bring them to the experience and enjoyment of Christ.
As children of God, we must first experience God’s comfort through the love He shared on the cross for the redemption of man, through this we will be able to comfort and encourage others. Our main objective as Christians is to walk genuinely with Christ and have His full expression in us.
Beloved, for Christ to be fully wrought into our being, we must fully experience Him. Anytime there is full alignment, you will be equipped and transformed in the power of His might. There is comfort in mourning because we know that Christ is with us. He has said, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” He shall help you in every area of your life. Be blessed!!!
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for the promise and fulfillment of your word in my life. Help me in all circumstances and help me to enjoy your grace in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
