1 Corinthians 3:9(ESV)
For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
The body of Christ is the Lord’s cultivated land. Each one of us is expected to produce good fruit at harvest time. How would you react when the trees on your farm do not produce? After all the time you may have spent wedding and taking care of it. Yes in this situation we have to put the Lord in our shoes. You’re expected to yield good results everywhere you find yourself.
Anyone who thinks of farming thinks of harvesting. In the same way, there is an appointed time for planting, so it is for harvesting. There is no time to waste beloved in the Lord. God is so much interested in us, to bear much fruit in and out of season. His will for us is for yield us to yield good results. We have a purpose here as Christians. Win souls and change others to become useful to the glory of God. Do you realize how useful Peter became after following Jesus?
As God’s building or as the temple of the Lord, you’re expected to provide shelter, comfort, and peace for others. It becomes rejoicing for the Lord to find out that you’re structured well to His glory. What God is very well expected of us is our availability and willingness to work for Him. It is in your working for Him that brings you to greatness. Receive grace from today to wholeheartedly work for the Lord!!
