2, Timothy 4:5(ESV)
As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
As God’s children, our ultimate goal is the preaching of the word which is to minister Christ in all His riches to both sinners and believers for the building up of the body of Christ. Apostle Paul writes: to me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ ( Ephesians 3:8).
Such ministry is needed to counter the decline of falsehood and the doctrine of Ballam which is on the rise throughout the world today. The faith of many is fading. The youth are being drawn into gross darkness and destruction. Be careful, because false teachings introduce destructive heresies.
Beloved, in any work of the ministry you undertake, keep a clear mind in every situation because it makes you morally alert to temptation, resistant to pressure, and vigilant when facing heavy responsibility. The Lord help you, and keep you for the perfection of the saint and preaching of the word. Be blessed!!!
Prayer:
Glorious Father, keep me, perfect me, and shine forth in my life as I divinely pursue the mission of preaching the word to all men in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
