1 Corinthians 10:23-24(ESV)
All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
The Church of God must come to an understanding that not all things are helpful for Christian to do. In as much as we live in a world where everyone can do what they want, the child of God is restricted from many things. The truth is that you have liberty and freedom but not all lawful things will benefit you.
The Apostle Paul is enlightening our understanding of what is good and what may not be acceptable for us to do. Not everything good for the world applies to us. Have you not realized that anytime there is freedom, many turn out to mess up and enter into the slavery of the devil?
Beloved, be ready to subject your members unto God. Be ready to allow God to take over your life. Be ready to enter into a place where Christ will have full access to your mortality. One thing that has destroyed so many people is doing what they wish and want to do. Choose God’s will for your life and it shall end well with you. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer:
Abba Father, thank you for your work and for enlightening my mind on what is good for me. Help me to stay through to your word and guide me to live according to your will in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
