1 Corinthians 9:25(esv)
Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
The believer’s reward is an incorruptible crown which the king of Zion will reward to us. The overcoming saints who win the race will be given in addition to salvation. As a child of God, there is one thing you’ve to do, that daily you cast not away your confidence which has great reward of recompense.
We’ve received salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Our reward is dependant on one thing, our faithfulness to run the race in diligence and settle ourselves for the benchmark of God’s reward. Paul and the other disciples pressed strongly toward the mark of the high calling.
Beloved we have an assurance that God will reward each one of us at His appearance. To receive these blessings, there is a need to align all our ways with the Father, be willing and ready to follow after His leadings and align to accomplish our purpose in the Lord. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for aligning me on your path. Help me to follow after charity and press toward the mark of the high calling in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
