Is The Resurrection The Most Important Thing?

1 Corinthians 15:12-13(ESV)
Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

Resurrection is the life pulse and lifeline of the divine economy. If there were no resurrection, God would be the God of the dead, not of the living. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important thing to all Christians. If Jesus Christ is alive, then there is hope for the world. If Jesus Christ is in the grave, then I don’t see the slightest glimmer of hope on the horizon. The resurrection of Christ was one of the best-attested facts of history.

Christ Jesus according to the word of God rose in power and might, scriptures say He rose on the third day and is living. Seated at the right hand of the Father and making intercession for the saint is the true Son of God. His death saved us from being condemned because of our sins. His resurrection life delivered us from the power of sin( Romans 8:2).

Brethren in Christ, it was the fact of the resurrection of Christ that called the disciples to go out as burning young revolutionaries to change the world of their days. They preached that Christ is alive. Today we are made fruitful sons of the living God and without blemish. This is the testimony we’ve, that Christ is alive today, yesterday and forever. He is forever the saviour of this world and calls all men to repentance. This should be our message every day of the year.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for saving me and delivering me from the power of death. Let my message to others be that of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and of His ability to change the lives of those who believe in Him in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
