Scripture: Luke 10:42(ESV)
"But one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will nqqqot be taken away from her.”
As disciples of Christ, our primary call is unto Christ Himself and then to His work. We must first endeavor to nurture a very credible, intimate, and lasting relationship with Lord Jesus Christ so that He can prune, mold, and use us for His purposes. His purpose will matter much more in our life than any other thing.
When Jesus visited the house of Mary and Martha, Martha occupied herself with much serving but Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word; an attitude Jesus commended. Sometimes we are too busy working for the Lord that we have no time to be with Him.
Beloved, let’s not put our vocation before our devotion. Anyone too busy working for the Lord such that he can noQualityuality time with Him is missing the good part of the ministry which is the only needful thing. Quality time with God makes a difference in a man’s life. Be blessed!!

LORD God, I’ll pursue and follow after your will for my life and walk towards that which is destined to help me accomplish my purpose in Jesus’ Name.Amen.
