Romans 1:9(ESV)
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you.
As a child of God, you must acknowledge the need to serve God. The Bible says in (Philippians 3:3 ) that: we are the circumcision which worships God in the spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. You need to come to an understanding that it is the spirit that gives life, the flesh profits us not.
Apostle Paul considered the preaching of the gospel of Christ as worship and service to God and not as work. The phrase…whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son….” refers to the regenerated spirit that differs from the heart, soul, mind, emotion and the will of the flesh. Your reasonable act of worship proceeds from your regenerated spirit and not from your flesh.
Beloved, it is very needful for us to come to an understanding that all we do towards God must be done in truth and spirit. Paul served God in his regenerated Spirit by the indwelling Christ, the life-giving Spirit who died and is alive today, making intercession for all saints. Glory and honour be His Name forever. Hallelujah!!!

Thank you Heavenly Father for coming into my life to dwell in my Spirit, help me to worship you in truth and spirit all the time in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
