Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:12( ESV)
Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
It’s impossible to be a Christian without believing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There’s no Christianity without the resurrection. Christianity only begins from the resurrection, not the cross.
The church must come to a place of knowing well that the death of Jesus didn’t provide eternal life but His resurrection did usher us into eternal life. Apostle Paul explained in Romans 6:4 that we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life.
This entirely new life stems from resurrection. You cannot say you believe in Jesus Christ without His resurrection. To not believe in the resurrection is to deny the availability of eternal life that Christ gave unto us. Anyone having eternal life has the life of Christ. The Christian is born of God, with the God-life. Thank God for the resurrection. Blessed be God forever!!!
Prayer:
Thank you Abba Father for the glorious resurrection of Christ that ushered us into Christianity and brought us eternal life. I walk in the newness of life and I sit together with Christ in a heavenly place of victory and dominion in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
