John 16:33(ESV)
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
The peace of Jesus is to organically help all men to have a place in His kingdom. The phrase, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace…” is for all. men to understand that Jesus is the true God who came to give us His peace and give us eternal life. A life is full of comfort which takes away our wretchedness and gives us comfort.
The peace that Jesus came to bring was not the peace of appeasement or the peace of compromise and conformity. It was a spiritual peace. The world doesn’t give peace, for it doesn’t have any peace to give. It fights for peace, it negotiates for peace, it manoeuvres for peace, but there is no ultimate peace in the world. But Jesus gives peace to those who put their trust in Him.
Beloved, If you have received His peace, then you are in His camp. But if you have rejected it, then you are against Him. His peace is available to everyone who will receive it. Be blessed eternally with His peace forever in Jesus’ Name!!
Prayer:
Thank you, LORD God, for establishing your peace within me and giving me a refreshing mind stable to compromise your word. Help me to leave a righteous life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
