Ephesians 4:1(KJV)
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walkworthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.
One of the dynamics of Christianity is derived from the very important phrase “walking worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called”. The first thing God wants to help you learn is how to walk in Christ in your daily life. In Paul’s letter to the church in Colossians 2:6, he edged them by saying “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.
The child of God must possess the mind of God in other to walk and live like Christ. So many people claim they are born again but are not living the Christian life. In (Ephesians 4:17), he edges the church not to walk in the vanity of their mind but testify in the Lord. This is one of the reasons leaders and Pastors are very important in the church because this excise requires a lot of training to enhance the child of God walk on the right path.
God expects that in the Church, every new person that receives Christ and becomes a member of the body of Christ receives the right training in other to walk in the Christian faith. The Christian walk and growth are in stages and God expects us to reach maturity and become firmly rooted in the faith. May the Spirit of God guide and help attain this height in the Spirit!!!
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for separating me from every form of unrighteousness unto righteousness and from darkness to light. Help me to gain mastery over the flesh in other to be firmly rooted in you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
