Galatians 5:24(ESV)
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires
Our old man has been crucified with Christ. This is to us help rebel against the nature of sin and renew our consciousness in Christ Jesus Christ. You’ve power over sin and every weakness of the flesh. The strength for our conquering and our victory is drawn continually from Christ. The Bible does not teach that sin is completely eradicated from the Christian in this life, but it does teach that sin shall no longer reign over you.
The strength and power of sin have been broken. The Christian now has resources available to live above and beyond this world. The Bible teaches that whosoever is born of God does not practice sin. the story is told of a little girl who said that when the devil came knocking with temptation at her door, all she did was send Jesus to the door.
Beloved, the power of sin has no dominion over you. Just as Jesus conquered death on the cross. The flesh has been crucified with its passions and lusts. No more of the things of the flesh that kills and put you in bondage again. Allow yourself to be led by the Spirit of God from today. You’re a blessing!!!
Prayer:
Thank you Abba Father for begotten me and giving me a new life that is full of your nature. Help me to rise above all the lust of the flesh and cause me to stand for the liberty of your word in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
