Scripture: Genesis 2:16-17 KJV - "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
We have shared in our previous post that Christ alone paid the price of our eternal death when He died on the cross. Our love for God started after God first saw the need to reconcile man with himself one more time.
God is the one who first loved us, whenever you see believers in love with the things of God, you should know that they have encountered the love God demonstrated through Christ the Saviour. The Bible says in (John 3:17) God sent his son into the world today not to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Yes, Christ did not come to condemn us, but He came to save us. He came to save us from eternal death and by what He did for us, we can also stand up today and say we love him. Yes! We love Him. Glory to God!
Prayer
Praise and adoration be unto your name heavenly Father, I ask for divine protection to stand in times of trial and temptation and to overcome the flesh in Jesus’ Name. Amen
