Romans 12:11(ESV)
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, and serve the Lord.
The work of the ministry is given to each one of us to profit the church. Each generation becomes more addicted to the sedatives of life. We find out great goals in Christ through our commitment that draws us closer to this work we are called into. Christ is always ready to show you mercy and satisfy our souls and hunger.
He always waits to give you a fresh sense of direction and to take dissatisfaction out of your life. Your mandate as a child of God in the church is not limited to soul-winning but goes beyond it. We are called to preach the good news, to heal the sick, to deliver the oppressed and bringing redemption to the body of Christ. We are soldiers of Christ and God’s army was sent forth on God’s assignment.
As a child of God, don’t lose focus on the assignment God has called you into. Don’t limit yourself because God has blessed you with an abundance of grace to stir up the gift of God upon you. The grace of the almighty God helps you and causes you to stand stronger and firm to bring deliverance to God’s people. You’re a blessing!!
Prayer:
Praise is thy Name ever-living God, help me to stand against every limitation that will bind me and cause me to be limited in my area of calling in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
