Scripture: Genesis 2:16-17 KJV "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
Brethren we were all condemned to eternal death. You were supposed to perish because of what the first man (Adam) did. But because of the love of God for us, He sent His Son to bring us eternal life.
John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave him only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This is where we first encountered the love of God. The love of God was made flesh to dwell and bring redemption to you.
Dearly beloved in the Lord, this love was made so clear that God loved us so much that even in our sins and disobedience, he sent his son to come and die for us. By His unconditional love for us, we also loved him. Yes, we responded to His love toward us. Praise The Lord!
Confession
Prayerfully confess this after me: Lord Jesus, guide my heart and order my steps to love you daily and walk in your path!

LORD God, your love is shared abroad by many including me. Thank you for showing me mercy and leading me to the place of light in Jesus’ name. Amen.
