Scripture: John 15:4 (ESV) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
In our devotional yesterday, we learned that God is much glorified when we bear much fruit and that is proof that we are His disciples. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you have to be united with the vine(Jesus) for His life to flow through you.
The life that flows through you comes with peace, joy, and the taking away of every sorrow and burden in your life. Abiding in Christ results in an impact on your soul, spirit, and body.
Fruitfully abiding with Him is proof that we are disciplined, and with that, we will be able to bear fruit in Him.
The vinedresser(God) will always dress us the more this life flows through us. God knows how to prune and take care of our needs as we live to become obedient to His word.
God shall internally take care of you for the achievement of your purpose. You may go through painful providence in life but in the end, the possible impact of the inner life shall be glorious. Be blessed!
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for the life that is flowing through me, for making provisions for all my needs. I pray for strength to remain united to the vine for the fulfillment of my purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
