The Identity Of The Chosen

Psalms 94:12(ESV)
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law.

The phrase, “How blessed is the man whom you instruct..” is to teach us how beneficial it looks for the child of God to go through the Lord’s pruning and training. Without his discipline, we will not be in alignment with the will of God. However, one must go through this tunnel of training to help equip and sharpen the mindset of the individual.

At times, God must discipline us to help us. This is similar to a loving parent disciplining his child. This may not look enjoyable but its essential value is to teach the child what is right and what is wrong. The Bible write in (Hebrews 12:11): For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Beloved, when you feel God’s hand of correction, accept it as proof of the love He has for you. It is for you to understand that the LORD is urging you to follow his paths rather than going after your way. In your walk-in learning the secret of obedience, there is promotion and abundance of joy. You’re a blessing!!!

Prayer:
Abba Father, I thank you for correcting me in all my ways. Transform and help me as I follow your command. Equip me LORD and lead me throughout this journey in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
