Scripture: Titus 1:2-3(The Recovery Version)
In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the times of the ages, But in its own times, He manifested is as His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the command of our Saviour God.
In our devotional yesterday, we learned about Paul sharing his experience with Titus and revealing to him his calling. This was according to God’s command, the promise of life, the faith of God’s chosen, and the full knowledge of the truth in God. No man can be approved unless He is called by God. The purpose of God for our life is for us to come to a place where God’s purpose in our lives is fully fulfilled.
Paul was an Apostle of Jesus Christ not only according to the faith and the knowledge of the truth, but also in the hope of eternal life, which God who cannot lie, promised in eternity to His elects. Today we have received the eternal life of God which is given by the savior of this world. This eternal life of God we received came as a result of our adoption as His children according to the pleasure of His will.
Brethren in Christ, today His promise through His word has been fully manifested in the life of His children and our eyes have beheld His glory. Yes, the full glory of the Father which was manifested in our lives as soon as we became part of His family.
The charge for us this very day is to go to all parts of the world, proclaiming the freedom that comes through the Name of Jesus Christ and announcing to the world the wonderful things He does. May you be full of Christ and glory in His strength as you preach the word in boldness. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer:
El Roi, I rejoice and glory in You because I’m part of your choosing. Strength me in your might to fully walk to fulfill your purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
