Paul’s Counsel To Married Women( The Book Of Titus).

Titus 2:4-6(The Recovery Version)
That they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, To be of a sober mind, pure, workers at home, good, subject to their husbands, that the word of God would not be blasphemed. The younger men likewise exhort to be of a sober mind.

The word teach in this contest comes from the word sophronizo which means to restore one to their senses. This emphasizes the doctrine of discipline and corruption in the body of Christ. God from the beginning of creation has the union of marriage at heart. In the book of Genesis, the charge He gave man was to reproduce and fill the earth.

Paul’s suggestion on the union of marriage to our fellow women is for them to genuinely love their husbands and children. Loving their husbands will help them to be subject to them. Any woman who complies with this has not blasphemed God’s word, rather Paul’s counsel on marriage is being fulfilled. Love promotes harmony, secures peace, and places a strong affection on the side of the couples and their children.

The focus of this teaching is to promote faithfulness in marriages. There is a great and important responsibility for those advancing in years to teach and train the younger generations in the things of God, especially regarding what Apostle Paul is urging the church to do when it comes to marriage. This will increase their desire and for them to grow in the fear of the Lord and His ways. Blessed be God!!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you did the institution of marriage. Help me to stay true to the doctrine of it and help me to accomplish my purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
