2 Corinthians 10:5(ESV)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
There are so many obstacles that fight the child of God of which one is imagination. Paul admonishes the church to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Major obstacles that militate against the working of our faith in God, are mental strongholds and imaginations.
Until we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of God’s word, we will not see the manifestation of God’s power in our lives. When we begin to analyze how feasible or otherwise, God’s word is to our situation, we stop God’s flow of blessings into our lives. This is because too much analysis leads to paralysis of faith.
We put our lives in a self-destruct mode by enthroning our negative thoughts over our faith in Jesus Christ and the power of His word. Beloved, our faith should not stand in the wisdom and analysis of men but in the power of God’s word. Stay blessed!!!

Abba Father, I thank you and bless your Name, help me to deal with every form of imagination and stronghold that exalts itself against your will in my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
