The Price For Ascendancy

John 12:24-25(ESV)
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

A fruitful life and eternal life come from dying like a seed and hating your life in this world. Without this, there is no way one can make an impact in the world. Apostle Paul said to me to live is Christ and to die is gain( Philippians 1:21). Jesus preferred to fall as a grain of wheat into the ground and die so that He might produce many grains for the church.

The Mystery of His Death has done the world more good than harm. We glory in Him because He paid for our sins and has made us able ministers of the gospel to dying daily by going into the world to reach out to as many who satan has bound to destruction. This is Jesus’ command to each one of us, to first of all deny ourselves, take up the cross of suffering and labor and follow Him(Luke 9:23) as He guides us through the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, God is standing at the gate of our hearts calling us not just to repentance, but with a core command to go into the world so that He will glory through us and be fully expressed through the church. I pray and ask for the grace of God for you to increase in Christ not just for yourself but for the missionary work to dominate in the kingdom. You’re a blessing!!!

Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for increasing my life and helping me to flourish in the ministry. Guide me, model me, and lead me to do the work of ministry as you’ve commanded the church in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
