But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Wise people learn what is said appropriately in every situation they find themselves in. Such people think through matters before responding. Others simply talk anyhow and say whatever they think, Bible calls such people foolish. Their words yield no result but only generate all forms of argument.
Joseph was quite fortunate to know the prophecies concerning his life, yet because he couldn’t keep them and see them manifested according to God’s appointed time, this foolish talk ended him in slavery where he spent some of his years in many uncomfortable situations. There are things God will reveal to you which must not be said in the open.
Beloved, all you’ve got to do is to write those visions down and keep on praying about them as you see them manifested. As you see the end manifestation of what you prayed about, never take the glory by yourself but give all to God. Don’t give ear to foolish and empty talk which only reveals emptiness and ignorance. Have a fruitful day!!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for making me a wise child. Hence, I’ll not give ear to things that will not profit the kingdom of God. Help me LORD as I make this decision in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
