Scripture: Jeremiah 14:3(ESV)
And the nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.
There is no situation as frustrating and disappointing as the persistent failure to fulfill your hopes and expectations. The inhabitants of Judah went to the well with their vessels, nurturing an expectation to find water but they found none; and had to shamefully return with empty vessels.
This scenario paints a very gloomy picture of disappointment, frustration, and anxiety. This will not be your portion. You shall not go to the well and return with an empty vessel. Your expectations and aspirations shall not be cut off and your investments shall not go down the drain.
Beloved, we serve a God of abundance who satisfies His own even in times of scarcity. In all your endeavors, you shall not return empty, disappointed, and ashamed. May the guide you and take away every form of disappointment in your life. Be blessed!!!
Prayer:
LORD God, take away every form of every disappointment in my life and fill my vessels and cover my head in Jesus’ Name.Amen.
