Scripture: John 10:27(ESV)
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
The Bible likens our relationship with Jesus Christ to that of the shepherd and his sheep. Jesus is the good shepherd and we are His sheep.
The shepherd is required to know his sheep and feed them by bringing them to fields and stilled waters. This is the place of satisfaction and discovering many things about your sheep.
As a shepherd, one of your requirements is to protect the sheep from fierce predators who seek to prey on them and finally guard and guide them on the right path to their preferred destination.
The sheep, as well are required to hear the voice of the shepherd and follow him closely. The question today is, do you hear and follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit?
Beloved, until we learn to identify and hear the voice of Christ our shepherd, and follow his directions, our safety, and security will be endangered by the enemy( 1 Peter 5:8).
Let’s strike an intimate and long-lasting relationship with Christ so that we can become familiar with His voice in other not to be misled by the enemy. Thank you!!!
