And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
The act of following outshines and brings perfection to what God is about to do in your life. There is no great leader who didn’t learn from a superior. Such a person would have made so many mistakes and failed on so many different occasions. In every step you choose to make in life, service must be one of the hallmarks that will help you quickly arrive at your destination.
As a child of God, learn the act of hearing from God before being led to follow someone. Never follow a man on a condition many people having many been disciples, be very discerning and think through every line of activity and step you make. Always be led before you become a follower of any man of God. It is wrong to follow someone who doesn’t know where he/she may be going. Jesus at every time knew where to go and what to do at every point in His assignment.
Beloved, under the shining of the Messiah, there was a massive great light shining in the darkness, there were so many people who wanted to follow Him. Be very committed and diligent to your master because as the Lord increases Him, so shall you be increased. The Lord bring so much increase to you as you serve faithfully. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your son Jesus whose work has made me valuable in your kingdom. Make me a vessel of honour as I follow diligently in my service in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
