And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
The act of following brings us to a place where we can learn the codes of ministry in a very easier way. Samuel became fulfilled in the area of his calling because he had Elia who took him through the right channel in ministry. One of the reasons why God brings such men into our lives is to shape and mould us to become unique and better in every area of our calling.
Part of the reason why the disciples survived in operating in their area of calling was that they had been with Jesus who on many occasions taught them what to do in every area of the ministry. We all need great leaders and shepherd like Jesus, men who are so much committed to their area of calling. Men who have understood their area of calling and are functioning well in it. Men like John the Baptist knew His only assignment was to prepare the way for Christ.
Brethren in the Lord, ministry is not a joke, God is calling us into such an area of authority, where out of what He teaches you, you would be able to function well in your assignment. Make good use of whoever the LORD brings into your life to help mould you. Irrespective of who the person may be, never look down on them and your life shall be a blessing. Hallelujah!!!

Ever living God, thank you for teaching me the importance of following. Deal with me in every area of my life and glorify yourself through me as I follow you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
