Our Identification In Christ

Romans 6:4(ESV)
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Paul, the Apostle of Christ Jesus teaches that the believer has been buried with Christ through baptism into His death. Anyone who has gone through this process is alive in the resurrection. Our old man has been crucified with Christ and he has been buried with Him through baptism into death. The believer is no more a slave to sin.

We’ve entered into Christ’s death through baptism. Christ and his death are one. The elements of Christ’s death are found only in Him. No man can see the Father without knowing and believing in the ministry of the Son. You’re a new person in Christ because you’ve been baptized into his death. Christ found us naked and clothed us, He found us as sheep without a shepherd and He led and fed us.

Beloved, what kind of love the Father has shown towards us? Today, we are walking in the newness of life which means we live in the realm of resurrection and we reign in this life. This kind of living deals with all that is of Adam in us until we are fully transformed and conformed to the image of Christ. Hallelujah!!!

Prayer:
Thank you, heavenly Father for dying to save me from the shackles of death and delivering me from operations. Guide and make me fruitful in all I do in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
