Mathew 8:24(ESV)
And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.
In this life, God has not promised us a smooth and enjoyable life throughout our days on earth, however, there is a promise of peace, joy, and hope to each one of us as we keep on believing in God. Have a solemn trust in Him, and don’t allow your current state of the situation to override what God is about to do for you.
There are so many Christians today who only seek Jesus once their problem arises. God is a man of principle. In all circumstances and situations, you need to seek Him. Seeking the LORD must be a lifestyle for the believer. Bible admonishes God’s children to…. ‘believe in the LORD their God for their establishment( 2 Chronicles 20:20).
Beloved, in as much as Jesus was in the boat with the disciples, these men’s hope was in something else. If you will look up to Jesus, the maker of your faith, and allow him to lead you, all things shall turn up for your good. The peace of the Lord is with you!!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for establishing your peace in my life. Help me to accomplish my purpose and guide me to move according to your will in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
