Scripture: John 6:31(ESV)
Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
Here is an account of Jesus Christ addressing the Jews in our opening verse. In (John 6:32-33), He said, very, I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
He further continues His explanation in (49-50), Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. Jesus Christ is the living bread that came down from heaven.
He is the living bread that came down from heaven, if any man eat the bread Jesus provide, he would certainly live and have eternal life. We are one body with Christ, we’ve His life and are made of His body because we’re born of God. You’re one with Christ, as He was led in glory, so shall you walk in His divine glory, His righteousness, and dominion. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer:
Blessed be God of the heavens and the earth who has made me a living sacrifice, making me one body with Christ who sit in heavenly places. Thank you Father for such an opportunity in Jesus’ Name.Amen.
