1 John 4:9(ESV)
In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
God’s love for the church is obvious. He sent His Son into the world not to condemn us but as a propitiation for our sins so that we might be forgiven of our transgressions. He gave us a life of peace and through Him, we are called children of the highest God.
Notice God’s love. The Bible teaches that God is love. You and I were sinners. We were aliens from God. We were enemies of God. We had rebelled against God. We deserved hell, but even though we resisted God, we rebelled against God, we sinned against God, and we were enemies of God. The Bible says God loved us anyway with everlasting love so that He was willing to give His Son to die on the cross for our sins.
Brethren in faith, there is not a person who can love that way unless he comes to Christ. You don’t have the power to love. Jesus helps us to love Him and love our neighbours. In the love of God, the Son of God saves us not only from our sins by His blood but also from our death by His life. Hallelujah!!

Thank you Abba Father, for making your love so obvious to me. Thank you for dying for my sins and blessing me with all spiritual blessings. Cause me to shine forth in my calling in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
