Acts 4:12(ESV)
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Salvation stems from God, it is part of His original plan for mankind. As a result of his act of love, He sent forth his only begotten son to love us and reconcile us to himself. The Bible says that God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us( Romans 5:8).
Salvation is an act of God. It is initiated by God, wrought by God, and sustained by God. The faith that saves the soul is described as faith in Christ as the Son of God. No man can save himself unless this help is from God. Christ came not as a unique person, but as the begotten of God to save, to rescue, and to deliver.
Beloved, all this expresses the uniqueness of our Lord. He’s the great I am. The supreme creator of the universe. Without him, we can do nothing. All things were made by him and without him shall any good thing come out of man. Seek him while He is near. May his love keep on abiding in you. Be blessed!!!
