Proverbs 3:5(KJV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your understanding.
Trust in God shows how safe one has so much hope in his/her survival in the hands of God. A person can only trust in God when there is acceptance of God in the heart of the person on their personal view of how He is. He is loyal, faithful, merciful, and more gracious unto His children.
The greatest secret to failure and non-achievement is the over-reliance on personal abilities, intelligence, and acumen, to the total neglect of God. There is a school of thought that argues that; God has given us brains to think and act, and we must do so without recourse to him. God did not give us a brain to live independently of Him, but to reason together with him and partner with Him in all we do.
More often than not we are tempted to put our trust in ourselves, wealth, connections, intelligence, social status, or beauty. Beloved, God is our source and we can not do away with Him and survive. It is risky to do away with your source. Let us trust in the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledge Him in all we do and He will direct our paths into greatness. Be richly blessed in Christ!!!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, in You do I put my trust. Help me to acknowledge You in all I do, so that You will direct my paths to greatness in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
