Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.
The Lord Jesus is in you and with you. All He needs is our availability to open our hearts to receive Him each day of our life. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me ( Revelation 3:20). This door is the door of the church, Bible says our body is the temple of God. Christ will only come in when we have given Him the green light to enter our door.
Happy is the man who has learned the secret of coming to God in daily prayer. Ten to fifteen minutes alone with God every morning before you start the day can change circumstances and remove mountains! But all of this happiness and all of these unlimited benefits which flow from the throne room of heaven are contingent upon our relationship with God. Absolute reliance and absolute yielded ness are the conditions of being His child.
How beautiful it is to hear the voice of your maker each day of your life. Only His children are entitled to receive those things that lend themselves to happiness; and to be His child, there must be the surrender of the will to Him. Man does not come to know God through works, he comes to know God by faith, through grace. You cannot work your way toward happiness and heaven, you cannot moralize your way, you cannot reform your way, and you cannot buy your way. It comes as a gift of God through Christ.
Prayer:
Thank you heavenly Father for begotten me and giving me a life full of your presence. Guide my heart to know you and the grace to walk with you. Help me to triumph over every battle that is bound to stop me from knowing you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
