Mark 10:33(ESV)
“See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles.
The Christ Jesus is the giver of life and the resurrection. He’s called the word of God, who appeared in the flesh, to save, rescue and bring deliverance to all men. Today we’re privileged to be called children of God because of his obedience to death on the cross.
The slave saviour was mocked, beaten and went through chastisement for our sake. The Bible provides so much evidence of Christ knowing and predicting his death, yet going through Jerusalem willingly even with speed and boldness. This was his obedience to God unto death according to the counsel of God.
Beloved, for the joy set before us, let us continue to endure til the end. Despite the shame, we may go through, our faith and confidence must be geared toward Christ the King. He’s the saviour of this world and has been exalted higher above the heavens. You’re a blessing!!!
Prayer:
Thank you, heavenly Father for dying for my sins and making me a vessel of good honour. Lead and guide me to fulfil my purpose in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
